The Sling Method | Resistance Bands
Bands are made from TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer), sometimes referred to as thermoplastic rubbers, are a class of copolymers or a physical mix of polymers that consist of materials with both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties.
For The Basic 8 you’ll need the 5 band set. This includes 2 handles, 2 ankle straps, 1 door wedgie and 5 bands of different resistances.
For the Runners’ Rehab you’ll need 2 x Red 15-35lb Loop Bands.
These bands can be used as a single loop or a double strength band when increased resistance is needed. Made from the same TPE material as the 5 band set, these bands are strong and will stretch too.
Taking care of your bands – please keep out of the sun as much as possible, and avoid contact with sharp or jagged surfaces. Do not drag bands on the ground and try to avoid standing on them. Also do not stretch your bands more than twice the normal resting length”
