Exercise 1 part 1 of The Basic 8 is The Starting Stance. Also known as the “Grip The Ground” stance. This exercise gets you thinking about ground force tension between the muscles in the front of the body and the back of the body.
Ground force tension is how we move across the Earth, if we don’t create this tension then we canot move and we cannot move well if we don’t create a lot of it.
This exercise is the foundation for balance and movement.
